DIRT BIKE & MTB FUN RIDE
16TH - 17TH AUGUST 2014
WHATS ON.....................................................
On Saturday Kiddies can enjoy a demonstration on the electric kuberg motor bikes while Moms & Dads enjoy browsing at off road bikes on displays or venture off onto the track. Entertainment to keep the kids entertained and MOM free to relax. Designated area for kiddies to sit at tables to draw and enter best drawing of the day.
SATURDAY AND SUNDAY there will be Food Stalls to cater for all taste buds, Slush puppy to keep your thirst quenched, breakfast rolls, hot coffee/tea, hot dogs, hamburgers, ECT to fill your tummy. Not to forget the beer tent to restore those weary muscles after the ride or to keep spectators hydrated while enjoying the day. Our MC will keep you updated with activities and there will be spot prizes during the day, caps, stickers, tee shirts and many more.
TOILET facilities will be available, good enough for mommy's
MTB FUN RIDE 17th August 2014 - track is roughly 20 km (2 laps for the fitness fanatics) running through farmlands which are predominantly sugar canE and two sections of macadamia orchards. We utilize the contours of the lands and their road network along bush lines and riverine. For the not so fit there will be pushing up some hills (maybe 3) and then refreshing air on the other side!! A medium fitness is required and many a bead of sweat will drip from you. The ground is gravel, loose stones and grass. You might even encounter bush pigs, bush buck and dyker with many birds too. The track will be marked with single green tape and double tape on the left or the right for direction (explanation at briefing).
MTB KIDDIES track is roughly 3km which will go below the main start and head along a nice even road, around our dam where there will be a water station with some chockies to keep them going back to the finish. Mommies welcome to join the Kiddies. Please remember NO HELMET - N0 RIDE! This is a fun ride so enjoy and see you there!

SELFIES to be taken during the event and will be published in our 2015 calendar – every single Selfie will be printed on the calendars. CALENDARS will be on sale from 18th October 2014 to mark the Day Joshua started fighting for his Life in ICU.
16th August 2014 - Dirt Bike Fun Ride
REGISTRATION 7AM-8AM
RIDE STARTS: 9AM
3 km Kiddie track U8 (separate)
22 km intermediate loop
Riders will enjoy 22km hare scramble type track that includes clean cut fire breaks with whippy corners and a few challengers. Interesting single track through plantation and river crossings.
35 km advanced loop
35km Advanced loop promises to be technical and show off some interesting single track and river riding – including a chicken run or two. For sure to pick up a sweat.
Tracks can be ridden until cut off

Refuelling point available for smaller bikes that want to ride the advanced loop. PLEASE CLEARLY MARK YOUR FUEL CONTAINER AND LEAVE AT REGISTRATION TABLE.
